This spring break my family went on a road trip to the Eastern Sierra/mammoth area. I tried snowboarding for the first time at June Lake and fell a lot. I have been skiing for a long time, but never tried snowboarding. It is much less intuitive to me. The other day I went skiing at Mammoth which is always fun. I am getting alot better at skiing on moguls, and I did a lot of mogul runs that day. My dad used to be a ski instructor when he was younger so he has taught me everything I know, and he still skis with me. My dad below.
The Thrid day of the trip I went fishing on hot creek. It is a creek by the mammoth airport at is a comforable tempiture of 70 degrees in the creek even if there is snow by the bank. There are so many fish in the stream that you can watch them swim around from the bank. We drove down road by the river to the geothermal area were the hot water comes out
The last day we drove to the bristle cone pines that are up to 4 thousand years old. The babolonins were just inventing a basic for of math when these tree were young. They are super cool to look at in person. You can see how tristed and burnt they are and how many natural disasters and historical events that happen in its life. I got to drive up a super
